He had never really enjoyed the rain, in fact he would say he disliked it, especially the kind of harsh and lasting downpours that happened during this time of year, in the spring. He did everything expected of him, and he still came out average, not bad, but almost always only good enough. He would always be the last in line, the one to fall back on if all else failed. Everyone assumed that one day Temari would become the Kazekage, as Gaara was never quite stable enough to hold such power. He would, however, be the second in command, and if he ever did growinto himself, control the demon that dwelt inside of him, he would be the next leader himself. -Project Logos: The Logos building was large and sleek, towering from the base of the city to the topmost walkways, 75 stories in the air. Logos was, on the surface, merely a scientific company, dealing mostly in biomedical research and technological discovery of new materials, made from renewable resources in an attempt to keep the planet self sustainable well into the future. Inside though, beneath the boardrooms and open labs, beneath the press-rooms and the office, beneath a thousand quiet computers, humming a tune of progress, there are 13 subterranean levels, each with it's own set of labs and corridors, offices and computer banks, all kept under heavy guard, behind thousands of dollars worth of lock and key. Those 13 floors, never declared on official records, do not officially exist and thus have no real name, bear no real image. Those who know of it call it simply Akatsuki, dawn of a new era. -Journey of a Thousand Steps: To start this story off correctly I have to make one thing clear. Sasuke isn't my boyfriend, I don't think it's possible for him to ever be anyone's boyfriend, really truly. It's just not how he worked. Still, it's not like he didn't tell me he loved me, usually when we were lying together in the darkness, flushed and damp with sweat, half asleep and warm.
